Our Dogs

adopt a spaniel, change a life

Below are some of the beautiful spaniels currently in our care, each with their own story and heart full of hope. Some are ready to find their forever home, others are looking for a foster family, or a foster home with a view to adopt. A few are still under assessment as we take the time to understand their needs and give them the care they deserve.
Every dog is unique, and their profile will tell you more about their personality and what kind of home would suit them best. Whether you’re ready to adopt or thinking about fostering, you’re offering a spaniel the chance to feel safe, loved, and truly at home.

Ash has come to us due to a change in his original owner’s circumstances. Sadly, the family he is currently with have tried their best to help Ash but working full time, they feel he is not having the life he should.

Ash can sometimes bark at other dogs but without aggression. He is currently living quite happily with the family labrador.

Whilst his recall isn’t very good, his family have been working on it and he is getting better but that said, when he is out on his lead he is a very good boy and will wait patiently to cross the road.

In his previous home before this one, Ash lived with children who he got on very well with, but due to the dynamic in the home changing a lot, we feel Ash has become unsettled and developed separation anxiety before he came to his current home. He has toileting issues in the home so will need someone who is happy to work with him on this and help him become the boy we know he is capable of being. It will take time, love and patience but with the right home, we believe he will thrive.

Whilst he does love to chew things, Ash loves his toys and shows no resource guarding, he will happily share them with the other dog in the home and loves to play. He is also great in the car, loves to travel and loves being groomed.
