What Is Kids Around Dogs®?
KAD – Kids Around Dogs® is an association of Dog Professionals and Child Care Professionals who specialise in working with families and schools to help children and dogs live in harmony together.
Debby Lucken, the founder of KAD, has also designed a protocol to help overcome the fear of dogs in children and adults. KAD Approved Professionals are qualified to use this protocol.
How KAD Can Help
We are proud to be part of the KAD family. This allows us to support families where a child may be frightened of the family dog, or where children need help learning to understand and respect dogs.
Whether a child has developed a fear following something that has happened in the past, or simply needs some guidance around dogs, KAD provides a specialist approach to helping children and dogs live more comfortably together.
