ABOUT BUDDY
Buddy is a relaxed, happy and affectionate dog who is gentle and well behaved in the home. He is non-destructive and has shown himself to be particularly good with children. He was calm and completely biddable throughout his assessment, even when being handled and examined by someone unfamiliar to him. Buddy has excellent scenting ability and enjoys both balls and treats, making him very trainable and easy to redirect. He does pull strongly on lead and his dog-to-dog reactivity has recently increased, including fights with another dog in the home which have resulted in a bite. For this reason, careful management and an experienced home are essential.

ABOUT PABLO
Pablo can occasionally show some guarding tendencies, particularly around items he values, although he is good at giving a warning growl to communicate that he would like space. He responds well to calm distraction and is usually happy to swap items for treats or food. He can also be vocal when someone unfamiliar enters the home, but once he has had the opportunity to sniff and get to know them, he settles and is happy to interact. Pablo likes to approach people in his own time and will sometimes enjoy affection, while at other times he simply prefers to carry on with his day. He would benefit from a calm, consistent home that understands his boundaries and can give him plenty of time and attention.

ABOUT BRYN
He has no bite history and has been brought up with children. There are no health issues that we’re currently aware of (medical history pending).
As you can see, he’s a very handsome boy who needs a new sofa to curl up on.
Whilst he’s not too bothered about toys, he does like his ball (no surprise there!) and hasn’t shown any signs of resource guarding. He can bark a bit but this is something that the UK Spaniel Rescue behaviourist team will be more than happy to help with.

ABOUT HARVEY
Sadly, very little is known about Harvey as he came to us after his owner died. As you can see, he’s a very handsome boy and just needs a sofa to sleep on, lovely walks and plenty of enrichment.
As he is now a senior and has had some problems with his leg and his weight. He is current lyon a weight management food and is not allowed any ball play so as not to induce any pain. He has been on Rheumocam for this in the past but isn’t at the moment and is being monitored.
