American Cocker Spaniel

The American Cocker Spaniel is distinguished by its compact body, being notably smaller than its English counterpart.

The head is a key feature, characterized by a distinctively rounded, domed skull and a pronounced stop (the indentation above the muzzle between the eyes). They have a shorter muzzle and are recognized for their very long, lush coat that demands significant, consistent grooming. Their large, round eyes contribute to the breed’s signature soft and appealing expression. While they come in various solid colours and patterns, the most popular and unique colour is a light, creamy “buff,” a shade not seen in English Cockers.

Known for a wonderful temperament, the American Cocker Spaniel is characterized by an affectionate and gentle nature. They are loving and loyal companions that form strong bonds with their families, making them excellent pets for individuals and households alike.
