We are a newly founded rescue for Spaniel breeds run by ethical professionals and experienced rescue volunteers with decades of involvement in Spaniel rescue, to not only aid with rehoming all Spaniel breeds, but also offer the best help and advice for families who are experiencing problems with their Spaniel and would like to consider all possibilities before hand. At UK Spaniel Rescue, our aim is to educate; communicate; rehabilitate and collaborate , always working with integrity and the welfare of the Spaniel a priority.

UK Spaniel rescue was founded on 22nd October, 2024, by a group of like-minded individuals to offer a no-frills way of educating Spaniel owners on best practice to help them communicate with their dogs, to aid in the rehabilitation of dogs whose owners are struggling but don’t want to give up on them and to collaborate with other like-minded professionals in achieving the best possible outcomes for all involved.

We are a foster-based rescue run entirely by volunteers.  We take in dogs for rehoming mainly from owners who, for one reason or another, are no longer able to keep their dog.  We are not here to judge, simply to help wherever we can, be that through advice from our qualified behaviour team, helping to find temporary foster, or rehoming. All our dogs come with full rescue backup.

(Whilst our behaviour team are always ready to help when and where they can, if you are requesting help for a dog that hasn’t come from us, our behaviourists may make a small charge. Please remember that they are already taking time out from their every day job to help Spaniels in need).

Of course, it goes without saying that we need funds to keep us going and anything you can spare would go a long way to helping the dogs.
In the interests of transparency, we are 100% volunteer run and pay for all our own courses and conferences. All the money we raise goes to help the dogs and you can find out how to help us financially by clicking on the ‘How you can help us’ link below
