Muzzle training is never a bad thing. Far from being a punishment, muzzles can be used for many reasons, not least if your dog is anxious when visiting the vet. Remember, dogs base their actions on fight or flight and if the ‘flight’ has been removed this is their only option. It doesn’t mean the dog is aggressive, it’s simply a case of prevention being better than cure.
