I stopped someone outside a shop where I had been cuddling her dog to keep it warm. The owner came out bundled in warm coat, hat gloves, scarf, boots and I asked her why she didn’t have a coat for her dog. Her reply? Well foxes don’t wear coats. I called her stupid and she went on her way.
