Christmas Quiet Space

On those busier days at Christmas when excitement is high and stress may not be far behind, please think of your dog.

Some of your dogs may have the life skills and tolerance to handle a house full of people, increased noise and longer days – some will not.

Think ahead and create a nice quiet space for the dogs to be able to go to. Access to your bedroom perhaps, with a comfortable space to relax with their water bowl, a lovely chew and a chance to sleep is not a punishment. It will feel like a treat to go somewhere safe and quiet whilst you enjoy your busier day.

Whilst we may want our dogs with us all the time, and participating in what we love to do – this may not be what your dog will enjoy for the same length of time. Create a choice of somewhere else to be, and don’t take offence if the dog goes for a sleep.
